Signing In

Once you have accepted your Azure Active Directory (AAD) invitation (see Accepting Your Azure Invitation) and have received your vendor-specific Admin Portal URL, you are ready to sign in to the eCatalog Administration Portal.


Steps to Sign In

Step 1 — Open a Supported Browser

    • Use one of the following recommended browsers for the best experience: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Safari.
    • Make sure your browser is up to date to avoid compatibility issues.

Step 2 — Enter the Vendor-Specific Admin Portal URL

    • In your browser’s address bar, type or paste the unique URL provided to you after completing your Azure setup.
    • This URL is specific to your organization or vendor and ensures you are directed to the correct administration environment.

Tip: Bookmark your vendor-specific Admin Portal URL for quick access in the future.


Step 3 — Access the Sign-In Page

    • Once the URL is entered, the eCatalog Administration Portal Sign-In Page will load.
    • You should see the Microsoft-branded login screen.

Step 4 — Enter Your Azure Login Credentials

    • On the sign-in page, enter:
      • Email address: Use the same email address where you received your Azure invitation.
      • Password: Use the password you created when accepting your Azure invitation.

Note: If you’ve forgotten your password, click “Forgot Password?” on the sign-in screen and follow the recovery process.


Step 5 — Complete Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

    • After entering your credentials, you will be prompted to verify your identity using the Microsoft Authenticator app you set up earlier.
    • Depending on your chosen verification method:
      • If you selected Push Notifications → Approve the request in the app.
      • If you selected Verification Codes → Open the app and enter the 6-digit code displayed.
    • Once approved, Azure will complete authentication.

Reminder: Always approve MFA requests in the Microsoft Authenticator app. Do not scan QR codes with your phone’s camera.


Step 6 — Access the Admin Portal Dashboard

    • After successful authentication, you will be redirected to the eCatalog Administration Portal Dashboard.
    • From here, you can manage users, configure products, and access vendor-specific administrative functions.

Troubleshooting Sign-In Issues

Problem: The sign-in page doesn’t load

    • Confirm you are using the correct vendor-specific Admin Portal URL.
    • Try clearing your browser cache or using an incognito/private window.

Problem: Invalid username or password

    • Ensure you are using the same email linked to your Azure invitation.
    • If you’ve forgotten your password, click “Forgot Password” to reset it.

Problem: MFA request not received

    • Open the Microsoft Authenticator app and refresh the pending requests.
    • Ensure you have an active internet connection on your mobile device.
    • If you changed or lost your phone, contact Mtec Cloud Solutions Support to reset MFA.
